Heya!

I watch a lot of TV, but usually lack the time to watch the new episode the night it airs, so I end up downloading it on usenet with SABnzbd+. It works brilliantly, I use Hazel to automatically move .NZB files to the watched folder for quick downloads, but I still have to go to Newzbin or NZBMatrix in order to download the episode.

I noticed SABnzbd+ has an RSS feature. Is there anyway I can "subscribe" to new airings [redacted] from a site, just like I would with news feeds for articles, and it automatically downloads the .NZB file?

1) Please don't discuss specifically what you intend to download from usenet.
2) tvnzbrss is likely all you need.

How do you avoid dupes in the RSS feed that is fed to SABnzbd+?

For example, I create a search on Newzbin.com and grab the URL for the RSS feed and put it into SANnzbd+.  If Episode 4 is released tonight, SABnzbd+ will download it.  But what if Episode 4 is posted again a couple days later?  SABnzbd+ will download it again right?

But I've found rss feeds aren't really the best way to do it.

Do yourself a favor... dump the rss feeds and get NZB-TV
You wont regret it. 

NZB-TV was pretty nice, then the bin was put on hiatus...

Is there another program that is as good as NZB-TV was, but keep the functionality of different settings for different shows, like NZB-TV, but add a library parser that tries to download missing TV show. This, of course, is without having to mess with python or learn how to use the script the tool came with. There are about 5 different tools that do this automatically, but I’d like just one tool to rule them all. Find the NZB, download the file, unpack, rename accordingly, move to file system, download the meta data…

Anything out there?
