Router connection lost after download with sabnzbd

Post by spidey »

I'm using sabnzbd on MacOSX 10.6.2.
When sabnzbd is finished downloading the connection to my wireless router is dropped and I have to reset the router to establish a connection.
At first I thought it was the 0.5 beta that caused this, but after instelling the latest stable release the problem still occurs.
Quiting sabnzbd does not help.

Any idea what causes this and hopefully a solution?

(Router info: Linksys wrtg54g, with latest dd wrt firmware)

Same problem here. 10.6.2, wrt54g, latest dd-wrt. The funny thing is, all of my other computers have no problem connecting. After adding a nbz (auto add via monitoring a folder), SABnzbd locks up and my Mac Mini drops it's network connection all together until I restart it.

It's having that problem right now, as a matter of fact. Tried rebooting my router, no change (all other computers connect great). The nbzs are there in the queue after a restart, and all have worked. It seems random, and I can't quite reproduce it consistently, but I just wanted to add a "me too" so that this issue might be looked into.

You might find your router firewall is blocking your computer due to the number of concurrent connections appearing as some sort of flood attack. Check your router logs for signs. You should be able to either de-activate your router firewall (SPI Firewall) or reduce the number of connections to the server.
