QUick question. I usualy use NEWZBIN and the automated bookmark downloads to a QNAP box.
Using the SABNZBD web interface, how do I add a file from GIGANEWS ? I have Newsbin Pro as an alternative veiwing and download tool for Giganews.

What do you mean, a file from giganews?
There's no such thing.
Giganews is a Usenet provider, unlike newzbin which is an indexing site.
SABnzbd works exclusively with NZB files as input (coming from newzbin, nzbs.org, binsearch.info etc.)
If you are referring to "old-fashioned" reading of news articles, SABnzbd doesn't do that.

So is it possible to add nzb's from the Giganews server onto SABnzbd or is that not possible ?

If not, what are the best alternatives to using Newzbin NZB's ?

NZB files are server agnostic. There are no server specific nzb files because it is not needed. The same files exist on all news servers (well basically), they just differ in the amount of time a provider keeps those files for (usually 300-500 days, it varies).

Giganews has nothing to do with NZBs. They don't generate NZBs, they don't provide NZBs, etc. See Here for a list of alternatives to Newzbin. The most popular options are NZBs.org (Registration currently closed, will return shortly) and NZBMatrix (Requires one-time 7 EUR fee).
