non-usenet downloads

I would love it if you could have SAB download things that weren't necessarily on newsgroups. Basically have it queue up a wget. I often wish it had this function so I could turn off my desktop pc and let my server do the downloading.

This was requested quite a bit ago the general gist of the answer was No - sabnzbd was for Usenet only.
I still think it would be a good addition being able to schedule wget like downloads all for one single interface etc.

As long as we're requesting things that'll never happen...how about being able to queue up rapidshare/megaupload/etc downloads as well as plain HTTP wget calls?

For hosting sites, slimrat works well. It's written in Perl and runs unattended. For simple downloads I
find it easier to use at and wget.
