Though I am loving this program so far, I keep hitting snags. It is difficult to download only select files from a post, so I tried created a custom NZB at Newzbin (by only checking the file I wanted -- in this case a sample of a video file). I loaded the NZB into SABnzbd+, but for some reason it returns the following "warning:"
2010-02-12 18:35:43,032 WARNING: Invalid NZB file XXX XXXXXXX XXXXXXX (XXXX).nzb, skipping (reason=NzbParser instance has no attribute 'groups', line=0
Of course, nothing downloads. When I go ahead and just create an NZB of the full posting and load that, it starts to download normally.
What is the difference between these two files? I have never had trouble with any NZB I've snagged at Newzbin over many years.

NEVER MIND!
Problem solved. Silly me, I had the app set up not to download sample files ... so, uh, obviously ...

Re: Error message
I'm confused now.
The error you reported indicates an invalid NZB file.
What's the relation with not selecting samples?

Re: Error message
I ran into this issue also.
For me the issue was that when I put an .nzb that contained ONLY "sample" files into the SABnzbd Watched/blackhole folder the .nzb file didn't get picked up by SABnzbd. A check of the log shows the above error when it loaded the file.
I did have Ignore Samples set to Ignore, so technically SABnzbd was behaving as it should, even if the error was misleading.
