OS X Menu Bar - launch HTTPS SABnzbd+?

In OS X, I can click on the SAB menu bar icon and launch the Web UI. However it always launches the HTTP site. Can I force it to launch the HTTPS site?
No, it's not possible.
Using HTTPS within the system isn't very useful, who's going to intercept communication?
HTTPS is only available on an alternative port and is really only
useful for other systems connecting to your system (within your home LAN or on the Internet).
