Hi, I've installed version 0.5.0 yesterday, and it's a really good job you've done ! Easy to install, convenient new little functions (I was on 0.4.2 before that).
But, I've noticed this issue. When I update sabnzbd categories, it replaces my accented letters in folders name (such as "Vidéos"), with something that looks like a bad charset conversion : (something like "vidÚos"). And it's not only a display issue, in the categories section, because when the download is done, it really creates a folder "vidÚos" besides my "vidéos" folder !

Re: Release 0.5.0 - Folders with accented characters - charset issue
Strange, this problem used to be in the "smpl" skin,
but not anymore in 0.5.0.
Do you enter the names through the UI or directly in the sabnzbd.ini file?

Re: Release 0.5.0 - Folders with accented characters - charset issue
through the UI !
I'm pretty sure it would work if I setup directly in the ini file, but the idea is, it should be working through the interface

Re: Release 0.5.0 - Folders with accented characters - charset issue
Can you check what the characters look like in the INI file?
Re: Release 0.5.0 - Folders with accented characters - charset issue
here's what I've just did :
Tried the smpl skin (white)... Same issue !
Checked the ini file (characters are correct "vidéos", "séries", etc...).
So it means, the UI does NOT write improperly in the ini file, but it reads it wrong.
And how could this have an impact on the post-treatment of the download ?
Is the INI file processed through another charset interpretation, by the download and post-download thread ?
Then it might not only be a skin issue ! ...
I'll try to investigate more this evening, to give you the more information I can !

Re: Release 0.5.0 - Folders with accented characters - charset issue
It is a skin issue. The problem is caused by the "smpl" skin.
Once there it isn't corrected by the other skins.
Unlike I said, the problem wasn't solved in 0.5.0.
It is in 0.5.1RC2, which is just out.
