par2 verify freezes API.

When sabnzbd+ par verifies it blocks API calls.
I can see the client just waiting for a response from the daemon, but the webinterface does work.
When i try to open the api call (for instance http://localhost:8081/api?apikey=blabla ... output=xml ) in my browser, the browser also stalls, so it is clearly the daemon that blocks the API calls.
This is really a problem with big downloads, sometimes it stalls for 10+ minutes.
Version: 0.5.2 (at least going back to 0.5.0)
OS:Freebsd 8.0-RELEASE
Install-type: tar ball
Firewall Software: pf
Are you using IPV6? no
Is the issue reproducible? yes, happens every time.
