I'm not sure of the dev roadmap for v0.6, but hopefully we'll see native support for other sites besides newzbin.
Even better would be a plug-in architecture for quick changes. I feel like we're going to be in for quite a ride with lots of different indexing sites going up / down in our future.

Anyone have invites to nzbs.org? I'd like to try it out. I hope he plans support for nzbmatrix as I already have that available.

There are no invites. Registration will open as soon as they've got their server stable again. Maybe.

In place of EpisodeButler, you could also check out SickBeard, it's really nice (a lot easier to get going with) and doesn't seem to be as anywhere near as buggy as it being Alpha status would imply.
I too hope Newzbin Open Sources, but now that they've sold to a liquidator doesn't look like that's ever going to happen.
What I'd really like now is something along the lines of a what.cd type setup (closed and you have to pass a test or know someone who's contributed) but for Usenet and for episodic and cinematic content.
Or, what I'd really like, but what will never happen, is a legit service that's as convenient as something like Newzbin + SABnzb+ + SickBeard + XBMC.

not happening. They didn't sell the code to a liquidator, they voluntary sold the code in January 2010 according to the article on torrent freak.
However, the code having been stolen, it may show up somewhere still
