Extreme resource utilization with the last couple RCs and now the final 0.5.2

Has anyone else noticed a severe degradation in performance when downloading large files (20-40GB) when sab goes to verify integrity/completeness and then extract the data? With the last couple versions it has had a brutal impact on my system. So much so that all 4 gigs of physical memory are consumed and file shares stop working and RDP connections timeout. This also seems to impact other services on the machine and it eventually becomes unusable. This is no bueno since this is my media server that sits in the closet with no monitor or input devices. This only appears when very large files are downloaded. This used to be no sweat for sab to handle. All disk I/O is performed on a 4 disk, 8TB 3ware hardware RAID volume which is quite zippy.

If there are any logs or diag files I can gather that would help with this, please let me know.

This is on a Vista 64 SP2 system with 4GB of memory and a Core 2 Duo @ 3.0ghz.

This has been resolved. I downloaded the hotfix mentioned in this thread and that took care of any conflict between ESET and sab.

It's also in the ISSUES.txt file in SABnzbd's program folder...
