Hi, I have been using Sabnzbd for a long time now, but a couple of days ago i reinstalled my pc (Win 7 32bit) and installed Sabnzbd. It was working fine for a few days but as of last night I get this error everytime i try to start the program.

Exception in thread HTTPServer Thread-10:
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "threading.pyo", line 488, in __bootstrap_inner
File "threading.pyo", line 448, in run
  File "cherrypy\process\servers.pyo", line 75, in _start_http_thread
File "cherrypy\wsgiserver\__init__.pyo", line 1629, in start
error: (10049, "Can't assign requested address")

I have tried uninstalling and reinstall but same problem occurs. It is basically a server with nothing on except sabnzbd at the moment so I don't think its due to other programs.

Any ideas?

apparently when i uninstalled I didn't check the boxes to delete the config, which in retrospect probably was stupid. - In my defence I did have quite a long RSS feed filter set up, so I didn't want to loose it.

Anyways did another full uninstall and reinstall and now it works. And instead of using the RSS thing i moved to SickBeard, which seems awesome!

Not stupid at all.
However, if the host name is no longer valid, then this will occur.
It's also an error which we cannot handle properly, due to the third-party internal web server.

I had the same problem.  I also had a bunch of RSS feeds set and didn't want to enter them all in again.  It all happened after I moved my router causing my local IP to change.  What I did to fix it was to go into Sabnzbd.ini and change my "host" section to my current IP address and that did the trick.  Hope this works for anyone having the same issue.

Can't find any .ini in my SabNZBd folder.
Did a search for *.ini, and nothing came up.
Any ideas? :)

Start by telling which operating system you are using (and SABnzbd version).
