I am downloading to several external NTFS USB Drives on Ubuntu Karmic.
I want avoid having a "temporary download folder" because if I download to one of my several connected hard drives the file will take time being moved to the correct drive after downloading. This problem is exacerbated by the fact that the NTFS driver for linux has rather slow transfer speeds, especially between two USB drives.
So my question is, can I *not* have a temporary download folder? If not, is it possible to specify the temporary download folder on a per-category basis? I.e. A download folder for movies, one for tv, one for anime etc.
Thanks in advance.
Get rid of Temporary Download Folder (or have assigned on per-category basis?)

Re: Get rid of Temporary Download Folder (or have assigned on per-category basis?)
The design of SABnzbd requires this.
You cannot have multiple temporary folders.
90% of downloads are RAR files that need to be unpacked
and in that case, having multiple drives may even speed things up.
