[Windows] Interface very slow

Version: 0.5.4 Final
OS: Windows 7 Professional - 32Bit
Install-type: Windows Installer
Skin : Plush
Firewall Software: None
Are you using IPV6? No
Is the issue reproducible? Unknown

Can anyone advise on any tweaks on speeding up the responsiveness of the interface?
It takes at least a minute for a browser on a different machine on the same network to even bring up a login box.

I find it's generally quicker to RDP into the machine and use it remotely, but even then, it's slow to respond.
It doesn't matter whether it's doing anything or not.  It's just universally slow.

Spec :

Intel Atom N270 (1.66ghz)
2GB Ram
160GB Hdd

Windows 7 Professional
No firewall/AV

I used to use SABNZB on a hosted solution, and that was quick, I can't work out why it would be slow on my home network.
Help!

It must be something in your local network.
Bad DNS resolution?
What happens if you use the machine's numerical IP address?

Same.  It's even slow on the machine itself.

I don't know what's going on.
My SABnzbd runs on a comparable system running Windows Home Server.
It's not ultra-fast, but good enough to be normally usable.
Is this slowness during heavy downloading?

I had the same problem, disable IPv6 for the Ethernet Interface on the sabnzbd machine ;)
