I am using osx and I set a new folder on an external hard drive. I set the path as /volumes/name so drive/ name of folder and no folder exists. I saved the file and yes the external hard drive was connected before opening sabnzb. the file is downloading fine I just do not know where it is going it is taken up space on my hard drive because I can see the used space going down. I looked in the sabnzb applications folder but found nothing related to the to the downloaded files. I just want to delete the files so I can reclaim my hard disk space. any help would be appreciated thanks.

You say the external disk was connected, but was it properly mounted too?
The best thing is to disconnect the external drive
and look what's in the folder /volumes/name now.
