Limit RSS Downloads

Is there a way to add a filter that will restrict a specific RSS feed to only download 1 file a week? I am downloading some TV Shows via RSS & NZBMatrix, but I hate getting duplicates of the shows. I have set my filters as tight as possible, but I am still getting some duplicates. Can I set it to just download one a week for each feed?

Just disable the feed and do a weekly manual preview/download.

Doesn't that defeat the point of using RSS? I want it to be automated, but with limitations on the number of downloads each week. I ended up with 3 copies of the same show this week even know the first one successfully processed.

I would love to see the ability added to limit the number downloads with RSS except when the download fails. In a failed case, it accept a another file hope it is a REPACK.

What are your thoughts on that?

Did you have a look at SICKBEARD

Sick Beard is a PVR for newsgroup users (with limited torrent support).
It watches for new episodes of your favorite shows and when they are posted it downloads them,
sorts and renames them, and optionally generates metadata for them.

It currently supports NZBs.org, NZBMatrix, NZBs'R'Us, Bin-Req.com, and EZTV.it and retrieves show information from theTVDB.com and TVRage.com.

This way you will never get duplicated versions
