Can I re-submit a failed job?

Post by gravy6509 »

Hi, I got the error "ERROR: unable to find "************.1080p.5.1.r38" which I think was because the post was so new it just wasn't on my news server yet.  All other parts downloaded OK.  Can I somehow re-submit the job so it continues downloading again?

I'm running SABnzbd+ v0.4.0Beta2 on a Windows XP platform.

Advthanksance,

Dave.

Not really.
You can submit the NZB again in pauzed mode.
Then click on the title in the queue.
Remove all files, expcept the missing one.
Resume and after download copy the file to the old job directory.
If needed, run QuickPar to verify/repair
Use unrar (or Winrar) to unpack.

Re-submitting jobs is something we may do for a later release.

I usually do it the other way around.  Add the nzb again, let it download for a couple seconds then pause it.  Delete all the files but the one I need from the queue, and then cut/paste all the good files to the correct folder in the incomplete directory.  Then you can resume your download and after it finishes the last remaining file, it goes through the full par checking and unpacking like normal.
