CPU and mem maxing out
Posted: October 23rd, 2010, 10:27 am
Version: 0.5.4
OS: win7 ultimate (also did it on vista ultimate)
Install-type: windows installer
Skin (if applicable): plush
Firewall Software: none (windows 1 but turned off)
Are you using IPV6? no
Is the issue reproducible? don't know
I run a file server with sab on, have done for many years now. Since updating to 0.5.4 sab is running with cpu at 50-60% and mem continuously slowly climbing to above 1.5g. It's doing this even with nothing in the queue. I know running plush with a 1sec refresh increases cpu but I've never seen it this high in any other version. It runs at 20-30% load even with no queue or browser accessing it. I thought it might be vista being funny so I finally got around to doing a clean win7 install and installing sab from scratch. Still the same probs. The server has very little installed on it, just quickpar, rar etc as it's just a downloader and file server, not even a monitor attached. I access via RDP. Any ideas what might be causing this?
Thanks
