Supernews Setup Problems

I am having problems setting up my Supernews server in sabnzbd.  I am pretty much a newbie to this stuff but I did my best to research and read as much as I could.

I simply cannot get past the server setup in sabnzbd.  When I enter my SuperNews account info into SABnzbd I get the following error message:

(10061, 'Failed to connect: This server does not allow SSL on this
  port -[email protected]:119')

I get the same error message when trying port 23 or 80.  I am sure that all of my account information is correctly entered.  There is an option box to check if "your provider allows SSL connections."  I have this box checked.

I am using this information for my login.

Host:  news.supernews.com
Port:  119
Username:  ***************
Pass:  *************
Connections:  30
SSL:  Yes

If I uncheck SSL the connection seems to work.  I am having trouble getting any answers from supernews, so I was hoping someone here could help.  If not I guess I am going to have to cancel my supernews subscription and try something else.

Thanks for your help.

The error message is quite clear: Supernews doesn't support SSL when using port 119.
I doubt if Supernews supports SSL, since it's the budget version of Giganews.

The supernews homepage clearly states that it supports 256 ssl. That is not the problem.  http://www.supernews.com/

I have tried the three ports that they recommend on the supernews site and I get the same error for each.

Thanks.

Supernews SSL ports are 443 or 563. Use one of those and it should work fine.

;D  Thank you so much.  I don't know how I missed that.  I feel stupid, but it works.

Thanks again.
