SABnzbd Forums

I am currently running sabnzbd on my synology ds1110j server and its running fine and has been for ages, but i am looking at trying to view this on my iphone.
i can view it on wifi network at home as its connected to the network, but i cant seem to figure out how to remote access it from anywhere else..

Has anyone come across a solution to this?.. not a mac geek so dont know much about the programming and such.. just wondered if there was a simple solution..

For this to work, you need to expose SABnzbd's web-ui to the Internet.
Be aware of potential security risks.
At least setup a decent username/password combination for the Web-ui.
The next step is to tell your router to do port-redirection for SABnzbd's web-ui port.
So assuming you are using 8080, you tell your router to send incoming requests
for port 8080 to your Synology's internal address (192.168.1.).
Be aware that many ISP's suppress ports, so that you cannot run SABnzbd on the standard port 80.
