Disconnect on Empty Queue not working

Disconnect on Empty Queue: Disconnect from Usenet server(s) when queue is empty or paused.
is unchecked, click pause, wait few seconds and view connections, there is none, sabnzbd is disconnected form server.. why?

sabnzbd 0.56 plush on xp

SABnzbd only shows connections that are actually doing something.
Which isn't the case when paused.
Also most Usenet servers will break the connection after some minutes of inactivity.

you want to say that sabnzbd dont have anti-idle functionality?
then why this option exists in first place? because it's clearly not working..
when i click pause it breaks connection, verified with external program..

No it doesn't.
Franky I don't see the need for it.
I think it makes more sense to break the connections when done.
Why bother the server more than necessary?
Can you explain why this would be useful?

well i pause a lot (quick pauses just to load big image/video) i have relatively slow connection
when i resume it takes a few more seconds to make connections (ssl) and to pick up the speed
and i think i'm putting more load on servers constantly connecting then idling
anti-idle worked on hellanzb and i think it has better done "downloader" part and queue was simple xml file, but it has whole lot of other problems especially on windows..
anyway just nitpicking :)
