Has anyone created a package for it?
Does it have the Python language installed (plus a bunch of required modules) and unrar and par2?

The Seagate Black Armor 400 uses some kind of Debian.

In the Serviio (= a dlna server app) forum  I found this:
http://forum.serviio.org/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=1945

In the replies is a step-by-step procedure to download and activate apt, from thereon it should give you an opening to proceed further.

However mind the available memory (=256MB in total) if you still want to use your Seagate as some kind of nas ....

As I haven't  received my ordered Seagate 400 yet, therefore I cannot give you more sensible information at the moment.

Please ANYBODY update this thread if you have either experience or findings.
