Email Template -> Not Working In Directory

Running SAB 0.5.6 on Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit)

I made a very basic change to the email template to allow the inclusion of the category.

The template works if I replace it in the language directory.  I realize this isn't the preferred way because it can be overwritten with new versions, however when I add it to a different directory it doesn't work for me.

I made a path with SABnzbd named My Email Template and added this path to SAB's Config | Email:  C:\Program Files (x86)\SABnzbd\My Email Template

When I do this and then test, I never receive the email.  Any ideas?

Did you set the template folder path in Config->Folders ?
(You now say you set something in Config->Email).

I didn't, as I over looked that.  Unfortunately, it appears that the same field populates in both sections.  So if I enter the info in Config | Email it shows up in Config | Folders.

I tested again anyway and got the same result.

Thanks though.

Any other ideas?

Yes, you're right. There is a redundancy regarding the folder in the Plush skin.
It doesn't matter.

Don't you see any error or warning?
Set logging to Debug, use the "Test Email" button and check what you see in the log file.

WTF?!?!  It's working now.  I'm not sure what I did differently this time but I copied the original template back to the language directory and it's using the modified one now.  Odd.

Before it would say it sent the email but I never would seem to get it.  We'll play it by ear for now but it looks good.

Thanks for the help.
