finder crashes & wi-fi times out after few minutes

Post by rsxrcr »

When I add something to my queue, it starts downloading, and then usually at a random point of downloading, finder crashes. Crashes to where I can not continue using it / quit it without hard reseting my mac mini (late 2009) Not only that, but my wi-fi completely times out. I have replaced my wifi card and even tried an external usb wifi dongle. No dice. Same issue. I've looked into the console log files and there is not a single line pointing to a specific problem... but quite a few random errors in there not related to sabnzbd. BUT, it only happens when using sabnzbd!

Like I said, I've tried a new wifi card and I've tried reformating my hard drive completely.

Version: 0.5.6
OS: OSX Snow Leopard
Install-type: Plush
Firewall Software: None
Are you using IPV6? n
Is the issue reproducible? yes

In general we don't recommend using Wifi for Usenet downloading.
Set a speed limit for SABnzbd.
Start conservative and increase as long as there are no issues.
