Statistics

Two questions:
1- Would it be possible to block refreshes when moving over the statistics?
2- Is it possible to display a "since" - date for the statistics totals?

2. Not easily, because SABnzbd never stored the start date.

Very nice to have Bug #587862 released, although it makes me wonder what my total would have been had 5.x not changed the behavior.

On another note, it would be nice to be able to set a billing period timeline for the statistics rather than a hardcoded month, or at least be able to set the start date of the month stat to coincide with the start date of a monthly billing cycle. With all the attention being paid to UBB (usage based billing) in North America right now, many users could benefit from knowing how much SABnzbd has consumed of their billing cycle cap.

We're looking at such a thing.
Like a cap amount that will make SABnzbd stop downloading.
Making something that's sufficiently generally useful
and also somewhat user friendly is a challenge.
But then again, SABnzbd is not the only consumer of capacity...

Using SABnzbd as your gauge for how much you're downloading overall is a Bad Idea since we're just one out of many things sources of high bandwidth. What about Netflix, Hulu, Steam, Youtube, etc? If SABnzbd implemented a "enter your cap here so you don't go over it!" feature, users would almost always go over it because we can only count our own bytes.

I wasn't hoping for anything as grand as a bandwidth metering system, just the ability to set the rollover day for the monthly stat counter. Currently it resets on the 1st, I'd like it to happen on the 6th.
