Bug with email delivery - v0.5.6

Hi All,

I cant find this bug listed anywhere, can anyone confirm it for me please?  Also, is there a bug tracker page I need to log this into or just the forums?

Please note, specific email address and domain name replaced for obvious reasons!!


To replicate issue:

Log into SABnzbd as normal and go to config ->Email
Then in Email Account Settings


SMTP Server:
mail.domain.co.uk:465

Email Recipient:
[email protected]

Email Sender:
[email protected]

OPTIONAL Account Username:
[email protected]

OPTIONAL Account Password:


At this point hit save and then Test Email.  Then click OK on the pop-up that says : "This will send a test email to your account."

In the warnings section that then appears it says:
2011-04-23 13:59:22,312
ERROR:
Failed to send e-mail

But when you look at the actual ShowLog it reports

2011-04-23 14:00:54,875::INFO::[interface:2561] Sending testmail
2011-04-23 14:00:54,890::DEBUG::[emailer:57] Connecting to server mail.domain.co.uk:465
2011-04-23 14:01:15,703::DEBUG::[emailer:63] Connected to server mail.domain.co.uk:465
2011-04-23 14:01:16,687::INFO::[emailer:114] Notification e-mail succesfully sent

Then the email arrives as expected.

Screen shot attached showing the Error.


If you need more details please let me know.  I have replicated this on MacBook Pro and Windows XP Pro

Please upgrade to 0.6.0 RC2 and check if it has the same behaviour.
We won't create any new 0.5.x releases.
