After upgrading from 0.5.6 to 0.6.0 RC2 on Mac OS X Snow Leopard (10.6.7) all new downloads end up in the COMPLETE folder, in separate folders named after the newsgroup from which the files were downloaded. This sorting works, but the category folders are ignored.
Is there a way to:
prevent SABnzbd to create the extra newsgroup folders?
and
use the categories normally?
I have tried saving the settings and restarting with an empty queue, but to no avail.
Are these bugs that also happen on other platforms? I would like to know this before porting the configuration to Linux.
News group names instead of Television or Movies folder.

Re: News group names instead of Television or Movies folder.
This sounds like an upgrade bug.
Stop SABnzbd and look in the sabnzbd.ini file.
There should be a line like this:
create_group_folders = 0
If the value is 1, additional folders will be created.
It's an old compatibility option, not present in the UI.

That's fast! It works, thanks! ;)
create_group_folders = 0 (was 1, causing the problems)
