As the subjects already points out, I'd like to have the option returned so that you can remove the download history with one single-click, no hassle.
Right now, if I'm not missing anything, I need to click: ''Purge history'' X button, then choose: ''Purge completed files'' and then once again for all failed files: ''Purge failed files'' (Or something like that, I use the dutch version, but something down that line).
I'd like to have the option back where you can remove the entire history with just one click. Having to remove the failed and succeeded downloads takes more time.
A dropdown box might help:
1. Remove entire history
2. Remove failed downloads
3. Remove downloads including files
4. Remove succeeded downloads
Anyone else thinks this feature should be in or am I the only one nagging about this ? .
Furthermore, I'd like to say: Keep up the good work. Been using Sabnzbd+ for almost a year now, and I decided to make a donation tonight to show my support.

Re: Removing download history in one single-click
Thanks for your support.
I assume that you're using an 0.6.0 RC?
The failed jobs are considered special because they still have
files attached to them. They are retry-able.
I don't think deleting them together with the completed jobs (just a bit of reporting) is the right thing to do.
We will be looking at improving the UI for later releases.
Right now we just want to get the current functional improvements to all users.

Re: Removing download history in one single-click
I'm not saying the option should be removed at all, I just wish there'd be a faster way like before where you could easily remove the completed and failed download history without hassle. The options might be useful to retry some downloads, but for me, I usually have a list of 20 downloads a day, and I used to just delete the history daily with a single click. Now I need to click several times and think before I click the wrong one so it won't remove my stored files.

Re: Removing download history in one single-click
Hmm. I am fine with the extra click.
A "do-not-add-successfully-completed-downloads-to-history" setting would be more effective for you; that's 0 clicks.

Re: Removing download history in one single-click
Single click would be very nice. Or/And the option to turn the history off, and show only fails.
Re: Removing download history in one single-click
Any chance of getting this feature?
Re: Removing download history in one single-click
Just set the history to show only failed downloads
and do an occasional delete of succeeded jobs.
The UI is already quite overloaded, I don't feel like adding more buttons to it
if not really needed.

Re: Removing download history in one single-click
How about, when no choice is needed (for example, any successful download), the popup isn't given?
I completely understand why failed are special, because by design sab is automated and feedback for problems should be front and center.
When selecting the remove icon on single history items, successful items only have the button "Remove NZB". Maybe it could not pop that up, if there's no choice to be made anyway.

Yeah, that makes sense.pmow wrote: When selecting the remove icon on single history items, successful items only have the button "Remove NZB". Maybe it could not pop that up, if there's no choice to be made anyway.
You're not losing any real data when removing a successful entry.
