HI,

my Usenet Provider supports concurrent connections, but they have to come from the same IP address at any given time.
Is there an option or add-on to use SABnzbd (Debian Squeeze) as an NNTP proxy for my News Reader Client, while I'm not at home (behind the same NAT'ed) IP address?
Remote access into my home network via an OpenVPN client is given.

The usenet part of sab is a pure client, so no way to use it as a proxy. If your "News Reader Client" means text only usenet access, just find some free provider for that or route the traffic via your vpn/server. If you meant that other client to be for binaries as well, just make your sab install remotely reachable instead.

Yes, it does. Thanks for the info about sabnzbd's current features and esp. your suggestion about alternative options.

Update: PS - used a different work around. I added a route to my usenet providers NNTP server's IP address to my VPN connection's config.
