from the linux users that work on nas systems, i regularly get the question how and where to upload/change post-processing scripts. It would be quite helpfull if a user could upload his own script via the sabnzbd interface. just upload to the configured post processing script dir.

I just put the the scripts on a share and set SABnzbd's script folder to the internal path to that share location.
Works fine.

That would be a work around yes, but then ofcourse i would get the question how to copy the sabtosickbeard script from the sickbeard dir to that share...

Make sure that that script is on a share too.
I understand your predicament, but first people want script uploading,
then downloading, then editing "in-place", setting the X bit, etc.
The target audience is just too small for such a feature.
