  • Do you experience problems during downloading?
    Check your connection in Status and Interface settings window.
    Use Test Server in Config > Servers.

SABnzbd running in the background

Since SABnzbd is running in the background, I normally would expect an icon in the System Tray. However, I see no way to access the app without a URL shortcut. If I hadn't set it up to open with a boot, I wouldn't be able to tell it's running. True? Is there a reason for this?

SAB is cross-platform and written in python. If you were to install the Mac version, you'd have a system tray icon which talks to the local sab install. If you'd like to volunteer to write such an app for Windows, I'm sure it would be welcome.

I would, but "sorry," I'm not a programmer. Perhaps someone who is capable will read this post and volunteer.
