Moving downloaded files to an external HDD

I want to set up Sabnzbd so that it moves my downloaded files on my HTPC to a folder on externally connected drive. I understand how categories work and have it set up to work properly on my local machine but I can't find a way to configure my categories to move the completed file to another drive. How do I get Sabnzbd to do this?

I tried "/Volumes/videos" in the folder/path section of my category but this didn't work.

Videos being the videos directory on the root of my external HDD where I want Sab to move my videos to.

I am running 0.6.10 on a Linux install (openelec).
My config file is here: /storage/.xbmc/userdata/addon_data/service.downloadmanager.SABnzbd-Suite/sabnzbd.ini

Thanks.

I'm not sure you're using "local" in the correct manner here. Local and Remote typically refer to network destinations or drives. You're not accessing any "remote" drive by using an external HD, that's all my point is.

Regardless of OS, it sounds like you just need to be using the absolute path, as opposed to a relative path. It sounds like that's all your issue is, you don't know the mount point of your external HDD on the filesystem. Try typing "mount" or "df -h" at a shell (no need to be root) or maybe even right-click Properties if the drive pops up on your linux GUI desktop. You'll also want to verify the user you run sabnzbdplus as can write to where you expect it to.
