SABDroidEx is a front-end for Sabnzbd and for SickBeard.
It has an ICS oriented UI and is very easy to configure and to use. It has multiple different functions :

Features

- It allows you to monitor your Sabnzbd server and to see all the downloads in the queue as well as the completed downloads
- It allows you to monitor your Sickbeard server and to have a global overview of your shows and the upcoming shows
- You can add Nzbs to Sabnzbd via Url or file upload
- Sabnzbd downloads can be handled separately by pausing or cancelling any of them
- Sabdnzbd and SickBeard servers can be configured separately
- The Sickbeard server can be configured though the application (long press on status bar)
- Very easy configuration
- If the cache is used it is possible to change the banners and posters by your favorite ones
- No Ads and never will have

Upcoming features:
- Newznab search
- NzbMatrix search

Sabnzbd+ : http://sabnzbd.org/
Sickbeard : http://sickbeard.com/

If you like this application please rate it.
If you have found some bugs or have functionality requests posts them on Source Forge as it is easier to know what is to correct and most wanted.

Versions

2.2.2 (upcoming)

- Nzbs can be sent to the Sabnzbd server
- It is now possible to use apache authentification
- Better handling of HD phone screens for banners.

2.2.1

- Internationalisation of version info text.
- Corrected banner fetch when using IP as Sickbeard URL.
- Added download name on long press menu.
- Added speed limit and other Sabnzbd configurations on long press on status bar.
- Corrected crash when using too heavy banner or poster.
- Corrected bug on add Show.

What's next

- Search on Newznab websites (Nzbs.org...).
- Search on NzbMatrix.

Please Note

- Sickbeard does not need username/password via API.
- Using too heavy images ( > 250k ) for banner and poster might not work or prevent other images to load depending on the system memory load.
- If you can provide translations for other languages let me know.

Sounds very great, thanks!!! Would be great if it was compatible with reverse-proxies.

Hello,

I've modified it so it is not needed to set a port anymore, this should allow it to work with reverse proxies.
(well according to the knowledge I have on these)
Maybe you could open a track on Sourcefoge and give me more details on your configuration if it doesn't work,
I'll setup a similar one to test.

The https support is great news, but now it just fc whenever I start the app. Tried to clear data, and the app works great until I enter my server/ip/apikey again.

App is looking good, by the way.

Could you send me the stack trace the application generates when it crashes ? I'll have a look at it to know why it complains.
Does it still FC after re-entering url and apikey or just doesn't display anything ?

Glad you like the design :)

I just updated to the newest version (and remembered that I posted here). My FC problem disappeared and everything is looking good. The top left corner icon looks a bit funny, but I guess that's my fault for having a low-res screen. :)

Great News :)
Concerning the icon yes it's possible, i'm using Google's compatibility libraries to allow it to run on older versions of android with the new UI and sometimes it's messing up, or maybe it is the downscaling made to have the medium/low resolution icon.
I'll have a look at it but I'm working on the search option at the moment :)

Ow yeah it seems android is messing real bad in here xD
What is your resolution ?

I'm using a X10 Mini Pro with 320x240 resolution. Running Android 2.3.7 (MiniCM7-2.1.7).
Search would be great. Any possibility for NZBMatrix search? NZBs deleted my account quite some time ago (possibly due to inactivity) and they are not accepting new signups.

I plan to add quite a few (Nzbs is just the one I'm using so I was easy for me to start with that), my concern is more how will I make the search look like more that an API concern ^^
And if there is no app for it, add a viewer for sickbeard is part of my plan too.

I'm testing the low res icon in the emulator, if it is concluant, I'll update it on the market.

Sickbeard viewer would be great! I use it all the time. Again, great work.
