folder sorting with entire series

Howdy,
Any options I'm not aware of for sorting shows into a suitable folder structure when it's an entire series from a single NZB vs individual episodes? I *think* that the docs are trying to say the episode format has to come from the nzb file name, but as simply having a folder for each season doesn't require episode numbers it should be possible (although obviously the parsing of the season would be a different format)
