Hi,
Ver. 0614
Windows 7 x64
SABnzbd was configured fine on one account. I wanted another user to be able to use the program. I tried opening up the app; the SABnzbd setup wizard came up. I assume that it is the default behaviour in case you want different settings for different users? Anyhow, I input my settings. Now the wizard pops up when I start SABnzbd on either user's account.
The different users use the exact same settings. Is there a way that I can force SABnzbd to use a universal config file? I noticed in the FAQ that it mentions the sabnzbd config file...
Should I try re-installing the program?

Re: Windows 7 resets SABNZBD configuration
Like any well-behaved Windows program, SABnzbd stores settings per user.
The alternative is to use a central location, only possible by using an extra start-up parameter.
The easiest way is to modify the SABnzbd desktop item.
More info here: http://wiki.sabnzbd.org/command-line-parameters
You need the -f parameter.
So your shortcut will contain something like this:
"c:\program files (x86)\SABnznd\sabnzbd.exe" -f c:\my\sabfolder

Re: Windows 7 resets SABNZBD configuration
Why does that happen?Anyhow, I input my settings. Now the wizard pops up when I start SABnzbd on either user's account.
I would like the sabnzbd service to start automatically for any user (upon startup). So, I should modify a shortcut as you suggested & throw it in each user's Startup folder?
edit: Should I not have "launch sabnzbd when windows starts" option checked (in case that starts the program without the proper parameter(s))?
Re: Windows 7 resets SABNZBD configuration
It's much better to install it as a service.
